 Professor Stroud Francis Charles Milsom (affectionately known as Toby) was born 2nd May 1923, the only child of parents Harry Lincoln Milsom and Isobel Vida Collins. Despite several attempts to meet with Toby, sadly we never did manage to get together due to illness in the later stages of his life. It was with very mixed emotions that I attended a wake following his funeral in February 2016 where I was able to meet with some family members and esteemed colleagues of his from Cambridge. During my research, I was in touch with Lesley Dingle who was conducting a series of discussions with Toby which can be found here and very clearly depicts the interesting life of my Great Uncle Toby. |
